Cyber Advisors is a rapidly growing company providing comprehensive Managed Services, Project Services, Cybersecurity Testing, and Auditing & Compliance solutions. We are a rapidly growing mid-sized company offering a diverse range of services, including Managed Services, Project Services, Cybersecurity Testing, and Auditing & Compliance. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an entry-level Project Coordinator to help support our project management efforts. This role provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience managing a variety of client projects, from short-term initiatives to longer client onboarding efforts. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, be highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

As a Project Coordinator, you will assist with managing a wide range of client projects, from short-term to longer-term onboarding projects. You will support the Project Managers in coordinating resources, tracking project progress, and ensuring clear communication across internal teams and clients. This position is perfect for someone who is looking to build their career in project management, as you will have the chance to learn directly from experienced project managers while making a meaningful impact on our growing portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Assist in managing client projects, supporting the project lifecycle from initiation through to completion, ensuring they stay on track, on time, and on budget.
  • Client Onboarding Support: Help coordinate new client onboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and assisting with client communications.
  • Internal Team Collaboration: Work with Project Managers to support resource scheduling and assist in coordinating internal teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Client Communication: Act as a secondary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, and assisting in managing client expectations under the guidance of senior project managers.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, tracking milestones, and preparing status reports for both internal teams and clients.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of project management processes by assisting in the implementation of best practices and lessons learned from various projects.
  • Learning & Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to grow project management skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • Project Coordination Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in project coordination, administrative, or similar support role.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both clients and internal teams.
  • Eager to Learn: A willingness to learn project management practices, tools, and techniques.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and clarity in project documentation and communication.
  • Team Player: Comfortable working collaboratively with others and supporting a team of Project Managers.
  • Basic Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar) and an understanding of IT or service-based industries is a plus.
  • Client-Focused: Comfortable in a client-facing role, helping to maintain positive relationships and ensuring client needs are addressed.

  • Certifications: Any project management certifications (e.g., CAPM, ScrumMaster, or similar) or coursework related to project management are a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience or coursework in Managed Services, Cybersecurity, or Auditing & Compliance
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Technical Proficiency:: Experience with ConnectWise PSA and Automate, Moovila, MS365
  • Certifications: CompTIA, familiarity with cybersecurity testing frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, GRC, HIPAA)

Location: Hybrid (MN) is preferred. We are also open to fully remote opportunity for those based in the US.
